NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Country musician Mindy McCready may soon have more than a new CD available for purchase.

Hollywood, Calif.,-based Vivid Entertainment announced it is releasing a sex tape next month that involves the Belle Meade resident.The title of the film is called Mindy McCready: Baseball Mistress.McCready's lawyer has issued a cease and desist order to Vivid Entertainment.

This video is set to be released April 19.The musician’s representatives said any such video is not authorized, and they haven't seen it. However, they don't deny that such an adult video does exist.

McCready topped country radio charts at the age of 21, and for two years sold numerous albums.Over the last decade, the 34-year-old former country star has had various stints in jail, trips to the hospital and drug problems.

Vivid's press release claims the hour-long video features McCready with a boyfriend named Peter. Vivid said McCready talks at length about her affair with married baseball pitcher Roger Clemens.

The press release claims she talks about becoming friends with the late Robert Kennedy Jr. and traveling on Alan Jackson's tour bus when she was 17 years old.

Mindy McCready's attorney Adam Dread released a statement regarding the matter: “We can confirm that any illegally-obtained property, and/or fabricated footage, and the release thereof, will be dealt with swiftly following proper legal procedure.

"McCready had originally planned to talk to the media in early April to promote her new CD, her first in eight years.
