First off a HUGE thanks to Mark and his crew at LT for an extraordinary job in designing and bringing the OBR to the market for us! I’m just echoing what others have already stated but this thing just reeks of quality and you guys should really be proud of what you’ve accomplished. Also thank you guys for all the free schwag that was included as that was just added icing to the cake!

I’ve only got to put about 120rds down range thus far but the gun is amazing and I look forward to getting more time behind it. I ran 3 different types of ammo through it (Federal 147gr, TAP 168gr, and PRVI 175gr) and it functioned great on all three. I had two PMAG LR-20s (which fit/drop free perfect) and the two factory LT mags for my initial outing. I did have one FTE using the PRVI 175gr and an LT mag but no other issues. I chose a NF 3.5-15x56 scope to go on top of it and zeroing the gun was a breeze. I mounted the scope, dialed it down to account for the 20 MOA of cant, and was on paper my first shot at 100 yards. Some more tweaking and a few shots later she was zero’d and ready to go. The rifle is far more accurate than I am but I will get better with more practice as I’m still remotely new to a lot of this.

Overall I’m super impressed and couldn’t be happier with my new OBR! The fit and finish of it is second to none and it has to be seen in person to be truly appreciated (I had a guy at my FFL drooling over it). It is a little tight when trying to break it down but I would much rather it be that way than too loose. I do suspect it will loosen up slightly over time. If anyone is considering one of these I would highly recommend it. If I had the extra funds for a 2nd one you can bet your ass I’d have another one ordered with a 16†barrel for close in work. Maybe in the future LT will consider selling uppers only once they start catching up. I hope to take it out again this weekend and get in some more fun-filled range time with it and stretch it out past 100 yards.

LT, congrats again, you guys have outdone yourselves as usual!

How I picked it up and the tons of free schwag!

My best 5 shot group of the day (PRVI 175gr)- Prone position off bipod. Had to change mags after 2nd shot. I know it's capable of much more, the problem is me. It had a .608 test target.

Thats a fine looking rifle. LaRue makes top of the line stuff. Have you thought about putting a suppressor on it?

Thanks! I ordered it setup to accept a Surefire suppressor since that is what LaRue has been using/recommending. But after seeing the price tag on it, I about croaked. Are there any .308 suppressors that you would recommend?

Thanks for the comments guys! I took it out for another quick outing today and had a blast. The gun is just an overall pleasure to shoot and is so buttery smooth.
