Weaver Rings on Picatinny rail??

I currently have Warne Maxima weaver-style rings on maxima weaver style two piece base. I looked around on Midway for a weaver-style one piece with 20moa built in, but didn't have much luck. I went ahead and ordered the EGW 20moa picatinny-style one piece rail in hopes that the compatability would be there. I've heard from other various places that all manufacturers are going to picatinny-style rails so all of the weaver rings would fit them. I understand that picatinny is a larger groove (.206 vs .180), which means all weaver will fit picatinny, but not visa versa. I will of course ensure that the rings are pushed completely forward on the rail when mounting. Do ya'll think that I will have any trouble with scope movement with this new rail due to the larger groove? Any input from guys that have tried this combo would be appreciated!

A Picatinny rail is a Weaver rail with uniform notch spacing. So, as long as the location of the notches let you put your rings in the right place, you're good to go.
