Hey there everyone, new to the site from west knox, and loving it!

Took my CCW permit class about a month and a half ago and keep finding myself out by the mailbox everyday waiting for my permit to come in....its killing me!!!

Im selling my first gun (sig pro SP2022 in .40) to a friend and now have my eyes on a kimber ultra carry II! Looking a used one in good condition, but one can dream cant I?.....Just a little background

I love to go to the range so if anyone ever wants to go or get a shoot together send me a pm

Welcome Hank. Where do you usually shoot at? We've got a shoot going on this coming weekend in Oak Ridge. Come on out if you don't have any plans.

Sometimes I shoot at Coal Creek, but I often find myself traveling a to Johnson city to shoot with some friends, which hurts the wallet from the up and coming gas prices...

Welcome. Coal Creek is a fine establishment. Tony is one of the most helpful of the group of employees at CCA and it's very convenient for me since I live mere minutes away in Farragut. There's a new range opening in Maryville in February. See my post in the TGO database about it.

Hank and Scott, I hope you guys go to the shoot this weekend with the guys and girls from the board. I guarantee you'll enjoy it!

I won't be able to get there...but I will be sure to go pester mike and Boom when I get home in 6 weeks or so...

I went tonight and and picked up my gifts from Mark@sea because I'm leaving monday for nashvegas and then points unknown...

and folks, I got a 3 gun gun rack :D Mark got it 2nd hand, sanded it down and refinished it himself...its awesome!

My problem is finding him something he doesn't have...

Welcome from another west knoxer.

I'm alright with Coal Creek, I catch some crap for being young I think, even if I usually do know more about whatever I came in to look at than they do, or at least more than they want to talk to me about. I will agree that Tony is the most helpful guy there. I was going to buy a range pass until they doubled the price recently, so I'm glad to hear of another range opening.
