April Memphis Meet Poll

Due to lots of PM's, it seems to be April 24th in an effort to appease the masses, which are equally split between AM and PM as I type this. The next two weeks will decide this as I also wanted keep this out there for a couple of weeks for the stragglers.

At the meet I'll ask ya'll, "Was it good for you!" and see how often you want to do this.

I must have missed it. Where will this be held? If it is on a Saturday morning, I might be able to come, but I probably won't be shooting due to the fact that I get off work at 5 AM on Saturday morning and with the little amount of sleep I would get between work and the meet I feel it would be unwise. I am, however, really looking forward to meeting you all!

Thinking the poll will dictate this one and we'll decide on one of the other three options for the next one.

As I said previously, I'll be there so long as I'm not at the drill center... and I'll do what I can to bring some friends who are either new to shooting or interested in learning.

Jack, any idea whether it will be a meet-n-shoot, or just a meet? I'm cool with either, just wondering so I can tell friends what to expect.

We'll probably just go to RUSA and get lanes if there are any and meet where there's space. The lady running schedules didn't give us ANY sort of iron-clad estimate on availability of lanes or rooms to meet in. We're winging it. I've asked all if anybody knew of private land convenient to Memphis and no one got back with me, so ...

I'll make a new formal post for the meet.

Update on the actual date and time.

It has it's own thread.

Memphis Meet, Apr. 24 1PM till ?

Due to the PMs I've received, and the obvious winner of the poll, this will be at 1PM at Range USA the 24th til whenever we drop.

It was urged that we go to the diner if we want eat on their premises. We'll save the BBQ for a time on a more private setting elsewhere. :-\

Lanes are $18/two to a lane. I was told that the availablilty of the 9 50' lanes and the 14 75' is up to the instructors, so we won't know exactly what we'll get till that day.

Saturdays from 6-9PM is frangible time if you have the hardware.

We'll talk about the next meet's date and time at this one, but I'm thinking the next should be a Sat AM for the second place winners in two months, one month if ya'll are feeling frisky!
