Fiber optic sights and the glock

Recommended Posts

Anyone have any feedback on f/o sights for a glock? I've been looking at some for competitive shooting but can't narrow anything down. I don't want any adjustable ones just fixed. I looked at warren-sevigny and didn't like the looks too well, plus it appeared the blade was extemely high. I really liked the looks of the novaks but they said the glock would have to be machined to accept the front f/o sight. How about mixing and matching, I hear alot of people do it but i'm afraid they would be different heights etc... What do you like to use?

Now i'm confused, novaks site said something about the slide having to be machined to accept their front sight (don't know which one, I assumed all of them). Brownells site did not mention it and when I blew up the pic it appeared to be similar to the rest of the front sights that fit in glocks.

I like the hi-viz drop in fiber front sight and a blacked-out stock rear sight on the GLOCK. You can usually find them at Bass Pro. PM me if you want some pics or info.
