Hornady .40S&W

Ok this might be a stupid question to some but i just moved here and dont know where any gun stores are and have been looking for the hornady critical defense for my .40 and everytime i call or go to bass pro shop they tell me it should be on there next truck but never is does anyone know were else to buy it?

Try Academy Outdoors up by Rivergate, or make the pilgrimage over to Guns and Leather in Greenbrier. I was up there today, and they did not have any though. I perused all the defensive ammo.

ok thanks i will try up in rivergate hopefully get some kind of luck i cant belive bass pro wont order it i have been in there at least 2 times a week for the past 3 weeks but i guess thats just there customer service i figured i was gonna try to get it from their simply because of the price cheaper than i have seen it i paid $8.00 more for a box for my 9mm!

I hear you. As difficult as PD ammo is to find right now, when I do find what I've been looking for, I buy it. Often, yes, at a premium.

And for the record...BP sucks at any level of customer service. I just ask them to leave me alone when I go in there for something.

The last time I was at The Outpost Armory near Murfreesboro, they had Hornady Critical Defense in .40 cal.

well I've called about 4 different places today they have either told me they dont carry it and hornady doesent make critical defense in the .40 or that there on back-order! so i guess the hunt continues!!! if anybody sees some while there out please let me know

I have never seen any .40 S&W anywhere. The Hornady website shows that the .40, .45, .357 and 12 ga. Buckshot are new. Good Luck and let us know if you find any.

yeah the .40 and the .357 are fairly new but the only thing i have been able to find is the custom hollow point from hornady for the .40S&W but like i said it seems like no one knows about it or they are on back order but bass pro has the tags on the shelf for them but there is never any boxes of the **** there so thats why i made this post and i think from looking at everyones replies that all of you are having the same problems so i guess good luck to us all i will keep everyone in the loop! please do the same for me!

You might also try the Reloaders bench in MT. Juliet, they usually have a good stock. Very friendly guys behind the counter
