I'm telling you, the GOP is doing themselves no favors. They're already included in the 65% opinion to get ALL incumbents out of there.

I'm beginning to think if somebody threw the Tea Baggers a few billion quick bucks and a few savvy organizers, they might actually BE a party.

So the Repubs will propose all these na na nana na amendments, which they can etch in stone as things the Dems wouldn't support.

Because the Dems steamrolled them with something that must have come out of a Huey Long manual.

I could only wish the good of the country was the prime consideration. Unfortunately, we have a chief executive whose goal is the destruction of the country, and shortsighted, greedy, or whacko pols. Under these circumstances, I don't blame the few principled men in DC for taking what shots they can.

"Tea Bagger's", I like it. I like it a lot. Just because you mind is in the gutter does not make that a derogatory remark. I knew of that meaning and certainly did not take OS as implying such things.

Personally I think Tea Party sounds plain stupid.

That John Boehner has quite a sense of humor if nothing else. I think he's the one who called for the entire bill to be read before voting on it as well as the Viagra ammendment. Might as well have a laugh while we're going down the toilet.

Sorry, I believe that was Tom Coburn who proposed this ammendment, and not John Boehner.
