Portugese is a pain. How about Chile? I didn't see them on TV being stupid like the Haitians.

No, they banded together as communities, with blockades, watch groups, and GUNS to protect their respective turfs.

Since the gooberment there was about as inept as ours in response near as I can surmise.

I'm thinking Tierra Del Fuego.

Little cool down there, but looks like great fishing.

It's easy to pick up when you are immersed. Besides there is no shortage of attractive females willing to help.

I think Brazil was the country you were looking for.

Yep after the War of Northern Aggression a few prominent southern land owners moved down there formed a little enclave in the interior and to this day celebrate the 4th of July with Rebel flags, fried chicken, and watermelon! That just may be the ticket.

the irs will likely try to pull money from your accounts which it has done in the past, and possibly seize personal property, charge penalties and interest, etc. we soon might see some very mad citizens that might retaliate in violent ways.

In a way, I hope they do. Maybe some more will get angry enough to fight this madness. I just don't understand why

people don't see the writing on the wall, by now. This war was waged against us many years ago. It is just a slow, progressive war.

I'm not going anywhere, either.

The mighty Republicans could win landslides in the next 2 elections if they'd campaign on replacing the IRS with the Fair Tax.

Of course, they wouldn't DO it, but they could win a bunch of elections.

Another reason the Tea Party folks are NOT Republicans.

Actually, unless the Tea Baggers get big enough, which is unlikely, I think the Dems dig them a helluva lot more than the GOP does.

Do you suppose there's a reason DHS just let a contract for 200 million rounds of 40cal ober the next five years?

How many officers is that supposed to supply? I'm just trying to figure out how many rounds per officer per year that comes out to.

If that contract were to supply every single officer, in every single department, at every level of government nationwide(which it obviously isn't), it would be ~40 rds. per officer per year.

I'm not planning on leaving either, but there are other things to worry about as far as Your money is concerned. Look at this link and the article, this is not the first I have heard of this. With bond sales soft they are going to have trouble finacing this socialist utopia of theirs and they are going to try and get the money from somewhere as well as printing piles and piles of it.

They always want what's not theirs. It's called theft. Andy Stern once mentioned that

Maoist thought of instead of using the 'power of persuasion' he would rather use the 'persuasion of power that comes from a barrel of a gun'. Why wouldn't he want your money? He's a criminal.

Day by day, year by year, this country has changed into something our grandfathers wouldn't recognize. We're past the point where the founders took arms to protect basic liberties and fight oppressive taxes.. We're past the point where, in Athens, our fathers took arms to restore honest elections. Suddenly I've passed the point where I believe the media are the watchdogs of the Republic, where I believe that our elected officials represent anyone other than themselves, and past the point of thinking they put any credence into the oath they took, to defend the Constitution. I KNOW the President puts no faith in that oath, he's on record as saying it is flawed and must be changed.

I pray the Supreme Court take their oaths seriously.
