First and foremost, I have always let it be known that being a Vendor on TGO does not immunize a business from negative feedback posted by our members. I am very selective about whom I allow advertise on TGO and expect that our Vendors be a cut above the rest.

That said, it has been born out by follow-up posts in this thread that circumstances were not quite what the thread's original poster indicated. In light of the information that we have at present, it is my opinion that this thread simply should not have been created in the first place.

Folks, please remember that there are usually three sides to every story. The side of the person telling it, the side of the person the story is about, and the truth that lies somewhere in between.

There is absolutely no reason for threads like this to suddenly sprout legs and become an orgy of "Me Too-ism".

Thanks.

And now for the rest of the story. Evidently, you are not the owner, OP. They won't give you the gun because IT'S NOT YOUR F'N GUN. Also, they won't give you the refund because it's not your refund.

They were asked to install the rail on a piston gun and was told the owner would be in CA for 3 weeks and it wasn't a rush job. In the mean time, they discovered the rail wouldn't work, offered to mod the rail so that it would work for $40, and were told not to worry about it. Owner asked for a refund, and was told he'd have to get it face to face. In the mean time, OP shows up asking for a rifle that isn't his and a refund he has no right to. I'm not seeing a problem here. Seems to me the OP is just out to bad mouth OT on an open forum and a lot of people took the bait.

Thank you.

This being the case, the OP has no grounds to negatively review On-Target for services that he isn't paying for, on a gun that isn't his...

This thread is closed, any further discussion should be between the actual owner of the firearm and the business, offline. This will not turn into a bitch-fest.
