I was thinking of getting into reloading. A friend of mine has a used RCBS Rock Chucker Supreme kit with 45acp carbide dies for $200. He said it's had about 200 shells run through it. I know I can trust him to tell me the truth but would you guys say this is a good deal?

I started out on the Rock Chucker then I got the Lee Turret. I still use them for my hunting rifle loads.

For pistol loads, I finally got a Dillon. Now I have three of them. What a pack rat!! My humble advice is save your money and get a Dillon 550B.

Seems like a good deal. I think it is always best to get into reloading with a used quality machine or a new press like a Lee. It will help you to know whether or not you enjoy reloading and setting loads that work best with your gun.

I purchased a new Lee Turrent Press several years ago and really enjoyed it. However when I decided up-grade I went with Dillon. It is hard to go wrong with any of the Dillon Presses and their warranty and customer service is 2nd to none.

What duckriverdave says. Buy a Dillon. Their no BS policy is un-believeable. If a part breaks, call'em and they send you a new part. Lifetime warranty. The cost is a little more, but you get what you pay for. I have a Square Deal B and I can get about 350 rds per hour with it. A new SDB setup from Dillon with a caliber of your choice is $320.00. Just add supplies and start crankin' the handle.
