Healthcare bill

Recommended Posts

Sometime this morning or around noon my fellow TGO'ers, we all need to drop to our knees and say a LENGTHY prayer for those ever so few demosnots who are riding the fence on the Obamacare plan. Only four (4) more yes votes are needed to pass this piece of :wall: bill. Need I say more?

One of Tennessee's got bought off for a $100,000,000 medical package for the poor. He tunred yesterday. Tennessee Democrat now supports health care bill

It would take a lot of emails to make up for that.

What will the end cost of this bill be? They are spending $100,000,000's of millions each on more than a few members. I don't see how common sense or emails can compete with that.

They aren't even trying to hide, cover up or otherwise pull the wool over our eyes with these buyouts, they just flat don't care what anyone else thinks.

I really think this bill will be the end of freedom. They won't have to pass laws to change behavior only make insurance rules.

They don't hide it because what can we really do to them. Even if we vote them out, they walk away with a fat stack of cash.

this may well be shoved down our throats.

Of course it is for our own good . And as bad as this health insurance scam makes me feel, I really fear this is not the endof the line. They have many more ideas on doing what is best for us all.

Yep big brother knows what's best for me better than I do.

Pelosi is doing her best to make them more afraid of her than of their constituents. Some have been bought off, pretty blatantly.

My country is becoming a banana republic.

I think we are there. We just don't know it yet, but we will.

we just need to vote everyone OUT.. PERIOD.

Won't help a bit. They go from elected position to appointed position to a "think tank" job to lobbyist, and/or run for a different position somewhere else. These "professional politicians " make a career out of theft and corruption, answer only to their political patrons, and dig the grave of liberty a little deeper with every new bill they pass.

Many of them really don't care if you vote them out. Why should they? They have a guaranteed income as long as they please their owners.

The many sleazy deals made to get obamanationcare passed, and the simple fact that it probably will go through in the face of overwhelming public opposition is proof perfect that 'by, of, and for the people ' has become by, of, and for the highest bidder.

Three of Lincoln Davis' staffers in 3 different offices, including DC, told me on Thursday that he was voting against the legislation. I thanked his staffers for agreeing with his constituency on the issue. Now he is not providing comment and has moved to the undecided column..... Not a big fan of turncoats... I've got a lot more respect for members who have voted for it since the beginning, no matter how misguided their decision making process was.

That's what my "deleted" post was about earlier in this thread. I noticed the same thing about his flip-flop position. I called his DC office and asked about it. The staffer this evening told me that Davis will vote against the bill, but some websites show him undecided because they are not returning calls from the various webs.

That's their story anyway.... I guess we'll know soon.:nervous:

I just heard this is really a jobs bill. Its going to employee 16,000 new IRS agents to enforce forcing Americans to do something they may not want to do.

WHAT IN THE HELL HAPPENED TO THIS COUNTRY? :nervous:

Too many people didn't give a **** for too long. 2012 will still be too late. Hopefully we'll get another reality T.V. show and some movies with better CGI graphics so we can continue not giving a ****.

High crimes and misdemeanors. John Tanner, Bart Gordon. When you leave for your new

positions, don't come back to your so-called home in Tennessee. You walked away from your constituents. They will not forget a coward and a traitor.

I am watching C Span right now and my wife remarked that "all these politicians in favor of health care sound like bad used car salesmen or evangelists" LOL

This is some funny stuff to watch if it wasn't so depressing

They spend more time talking about their time allotment than they do talking. It's like that SNL skit of the Prez. debate with "Bush" saying I must have used my time up just talking about it. "No, Mr. President. You still have 1:45." But in reverse.

When that first round ended, Slaughter had 15 seconds left. Just as she spoke, one of her aides told her something. Then another aide said something. When she got to the mike, Jesse Jackson, Jr. said your time is up. :stick:
