TGO for Ronald Mcdonald House

I'm in too.

I think if David put up some kind of banner or something we could do the $10K thing without too much trouble, especially if some people gave more than $10 to "cover" some that can't give. I think it would be awesome to see TGO as one of the top donations in the state, and if we hit that kind of lofty goal, we'd surely be up there.

I am in. My youngest was in a situation a few years back and we stayed at one in another state. It has been on our contribution list ever since. I think it would be wonderful to be able to donate through here.

We've already got 21 people willing to donate and $200 raised from just 3 of those. As soon as David approves of us doing this with the TGO name attached we will get underway.

Still waiting to hear from David. I know he is really busy so I will give it another day or so and then send him another pm. If anyone here knows him on a personal level maybe you could give him a call to let him know about this.

I am in as well! I have used Ronald McDonald House personally and was super impressed by it. My son (6 years old now) was born 7 weeks early at Erlanger in Chattanooga. He spent a week in Neonatal Intensive Care until he could maintain his body temp, eat, etc. My wife and mother-in-law (uggh!) spent that week at Ronald McDonald House for $10 a night. If we couldn't afford the $10, we were assured we could do some chores around the house to make up for it. We have been blessed with a lasting good experience, a great experience with RMH, and great, healthy son. The only stipulation RMH had for them was that they were required to eat dinner in the house (several churches and organizations bring food in EVERY day) and they were encouraged to use their discount at the McDonald's beside the RMH. So from a TGO member who has used RMH, let me thank BrooksJr for this awesome idea! Put me in for $200 in honor of my son!!!Thanks again!

David gave us a :D so I guess we can get this started. Since the event will be televised on April 17th I think all money should be sent by the 10th to allow time for any paypal payments to be transfered. Paypal payments will need to sent as gifts to avoid fees. I will try to get with everyone, that has stepped up to donate, this evening with my info(unless someone else wants to handle it). There are several of you who are within just a few miles of me so a FTF is fine. I was hoping to raise $500 but we already have that with just 5 people's donations. Don't be shy, if all you can afford is $5 send it. Even small amounts will help this great cause.

I hope when David has time he will post his ok here so all can see.
