Put 100 rounds thru with not 1 hic-up at all!!! Used my new ACT/Novak mags. Ran 100 rds of 230 gr. FMJ WWB shooting just a little low but pretty good for me and with just the second time with this gun to the range. Even really comfortable to carry, but not sure how it will be with shorts this summer.

I'll make due... there's NOTHING like a good 1911 (in my opinion)....

Pretty gun and not too shabby of a target there. WHat distance were you shooting?

Nice gun, I love the 1911's. Perhaps you were shooting low because you were using a 6-O'clock "target" sight picture instead of a 'combat' sight picture where the front site covers the point of aim? just a thought.

Good shooting, John!

Is that a Summer Special holster? How is it, and where did you get it?

Yes, I got the holster from Brownell's... Back when I got it, It was only around $65... I think that they are more expensive now. Its stamped Milt Sparks, but when I bought it, It wasnt advertised as a MS. Now on Brownell's they are. Its really comfortable I would recommend it. The next closest that I wanted was one from Kirpatrick leather.. They have a IWB that is real simular, but an 8 week wait for around $78. Its a good looking holster.;)

You are EXACTLY right... I think that is the reason. I will have to get used to the new sight picture....

I really like the slide/frame color combination.

If I bought another 1911 I am guessing a Springer would be high on the list.
