Haven't used any Emags but need to get some. It should solve the whole double mag pouch issue.

I have 7 of the EMAGS and love them as much as PMAGS even though that are a couple more $ each. They are still wider on the bottom beacuse of the lip but not so much that it causes a problem with the pouches. they are a little more difficult to find. They were actually designed for other 556 rifles that had slightly smaller mag wells than the M16.

The one that you broke, I am pretty sure, if you send it to them they will replace it.

On the followers, There was a message that came out a couple of months ago that talks about new USGI mags that will have a tan follower. they are supposed to be anti tilt and better than the green ones. What ever he does tell him to stay away form the USGI ones with black followers. We had a messages about 2 years ago telling us to pull them out and throw them away.

I looked at the Lancer L5 mags this weekend at the gun show and I wasnt impressed at all. I dont know why they dont use the anti-tilt followers in them. I was playing with it and got the follower to to stick with the front down twice. I dont see where the improvement is over Magpul mags. I didnt buy one, but I plan to get one to actually shoot with and see how well it works.

I have had not had any problems with Pmags and feel that it is hard to go wrong with them.

If looking at 2 point slings, take a look at the Viking Tactical.

Halfpint, you must be in Kilo in Memphis, right?
Roger that. Joined the unit on 14 December, last year. I'm looking at jobs all over Texas, so I might wind up transferring units, but hopefully I'll know something soon. Either way, no matter where I go, I'm looking at a deployment sometime before my contract is up.

I run HK mags on my work gun. I am going to evaluate the Pmags and see if they fit the bil, they are much lighter.

Drop me a PM if you want to try some out. I have about 30 of the black window ones and about 40 of the same thing in FDE.
