Just saying Hi

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to say hi and introduce my self to everyone. I actually joined back in January but have been pretty busy so I haven't been back since. I just came back to the great state of Tennessee after 12 years of Naval service. My dad (theoldguy) introduced me to the forums and here I am. Thanks to my dad I have been shooting all my life really. I joined the navy as a Gunner's Mate and acted as a Small Arms Instructor for the great majority of my career. Also while there I became a qualified NECC Armorer and Expeditionary Designated Marksman. I was a member of the short lived HVBSS teams where I gained alot of experience as a tactical team member. While a part of that team I was lucky enough to receive some pretty good training from Blackwater and C2 Shooting Center in Virginia Beach, VA from Al Clark. I'm glad to be a member and hope to learn from the great minds here and maybe even share a thing or two.

That's a negative. The only ship yards I have been to where the norfolk naval ship yards at portmouth, va and the Newport news naval ship yards in Newport new, va

I was active 88-91 and then did reserves in Nashville until about 95. My only ship was the USS Nassau (LHA-4). Worked on the early Mk. 45 Mod. 0's. My reserve unit did our 2 weeks in Monmouth, Va at NWS Earle.
