Just watched Book of Eli and I was glad to see a BugOutBag star in a movie. This movie gave me a new respect for a Bug Out Bag, which I already respect. Seemed to me that his most important items were his bible, machete, bullets, gun, shoes and water not in any certain order. Just seeing what you guys think about it.

Damn good movie!!! Got me started on my bug out bag. I decided not to pay $100+ for an Oakley bag, but snagged a Condor 3 day assult pack for $65 and already got a first aid kit to go in it ($25). Still deciding on my contents of the bag, but I've got 4500+ sq inches of room to store stuff!

The bag was nice but what I really want is a couch like George and Martha had, with all the guns inside! Best scene of the movie.

Got a condor "EMT Rip Away Pouch" for my son. We all love it and it's holding up great. He drags it back and forth to school everyday. :D\

We're both wanting to see the movie. Can't wait till it is out on DVD.

I really enjoyed the movie as well and liked the twist at the end of it. I also agree that part with the house and the coach was my favorite part also.

I really liked the movie. I thought that the pluralism at the end was a little cowardly on the movie maker's behalf. It's not for me to say that other religions are incorrect. I'm far from an authority (I can only follow what my faith dictates, and as a Christian my personal leanings are obvious). It's just that the movie was not a movie about apologism or pluralism, and so the close to final shot of the bible next to the Torah and the Koran and the Upanishads seemed like the makers were hedging their bets, so as not to upset the non-christian audience...

Also, I liked that the old couple's name were George and Martha (as in Washington). Good old Dumbledore...
