Actually some gun guys in Ca came up with the Bullet Button to get around the Ca law so they could own AR's and AK's or what not and still be able to stay out of prison. to make the long story short, in Ca, a center fired rifle that has a detachable mag and a pistol grip is considered an assualt weapon. to get around that you either have to remove the pistol grip, replacing it with a monsterman grip, or haveing the mag pinned so it can not be removed without a tool. the bullet button, requires a tool be it the tip of a bullet to be able to remove the mag, thus making the mag perma fixed as court ruling and the rilfe kosher for use..... that is one of the reasons i moved out.
