Big Brown dropped off my IOR today. Here it is all mounted up. It was a toss up between the IOR and the Vortex Viper PST. The IOR won because I am impatient and didn't want to wait until June. Already been waiting too long as it is.

Can't wait to take it to the range on Friday and get it zeroed in.

Here is where it all started from.

Here it is today. Rem 700 in 30-06, Broughton Barrel-Max Heavy Varmint Contour, McRee Folding Stock, EGW Dual Extended 20moa Base, IOR 3-18 FFP scope

Nice look'n set up. I have and like the IOR glass but I may wait to June to get a PST if I dont find a deal on a USO scope before then.

Who put your barrel on? Or did you do it yourself? I hear great feedback on the Broughton tubes :bowrofl:

I guy here in Maryland did it for me. (Doc Ed out of Iamsville) He builds lots of long range and F-Class rifles.

Great looking rifle. Cant wait for a report on the IOR scope.

I am thinking about a low power variable for an AR.

Kind regards,

I keep hearing that IOR scopes are good, but haven't heard anything really about them. Can you get them with first focul plane reticles? I am assuming that is true with the "FFP" designation in your description of the scope. What is the clarity like, etc.

BTW, nice setup.

A .30-06 with a varmint barrel? Must be bigger varmints in Maryland than I realized!

Very nice set up. Look forward to hearing how it shoots...out to be a tack driver.
