Considering a MK9 Kahr. Any input?

Considering a Kahr MK9,(possibly a p380Kahr) for those "extra concealed" moments? Opinions?

Also how will it compare in size (pocketability) to say my XD subcompact?

MK9 is quite heavy for pocket, 27 oz w/ 6+1 in there, my XD SC9 weighs exactly 2 lbs with 13+1, so you're only saving 5 oz for a lot less capacity.

But unlike the XD, it does FIT the pocket nicely if you can abide the weight.

The MK9 is a nice gun but as a pocket piece at 24 ounces much too heavy IMO.

The only thing in a Kahr that is pocketable based on actual experience in 9mm is a PM9 at 16 ounces.

I find even 16 ounces marginal for pocket carry. 13 is about my cut off.

Kahr P380 would definitely pocket but it's a .380,...not that there's anything wrong with that. :hijack:

I don't know if you have ever seen this comparison before. It should prove helpful.
