Being a secret agent buff, a Walther PPK/S, naturally. I understand Smith & Wesson is having some quality control issues. Maybe, they'll get me one built someday.

Thanks for the welcome. Late last year, Smith & Wesson recalled all the guns because the hammer block safeties were failing in some instances and the gun could discharge. This particular model isn't heavy on safety features to begin with. In addition, there have been a lot of other issues with fit and finish and overall quality.

S & W usually produces a pretty good firearm. I don't know what's going on at the plant in Houlton, Maine. But apparently, those problems have pretty much brought the pipeline of new PPK's to a halt.

Welcome! I know a shop that has a USED LIKE NEW Walthers ppk/s made by Interarms for sale. I just traded it off for a 1911.
