Sig Sauer P220 R5 SAO

I picked up a Sig P220 Match .45 with a 5" barrell in SAO. I've shot plenty of P226s and P229s in .40 but never a single action only sig in .45. I was originally in the market for a 1911 when I ran across this pistol with a price I couldn't pass up.

I'm interested in hearing from anyone that has shot one or had one before I put a bunch of rounds through it. It practically looks brand new with not one single scratch on it.

I figured if I didn't want to keep it, it has some good tradability.

I have two Sig P220's but not a match version. I love mine, both shoot wonderfully well. Try it, you'll like it.

I own a Custom Shop 220 Elite SAO. This is one of my favorites. That said I still

like my DW CBOB's better.

Have a Dark Elite and love it. It's definately one of their more popular models, so you shouldn't have any trouble selling or trading it if you don't like.

Have a 220 SAO and it's shoots great. I don't know how the Match model is, but the only fault for me is a long trigger reset. I'm used to a Glock and had some issues with rapid fire on the SAO. From what I understand you can't get a short trigger reset kit from Sig for an SAO which is a bummer.

I finally made it to the range to shoot this bad boy. I'm more than pleased. Glad I ran across this deal. I'll be keeping this one. The trigger was way smoother than I expected. Since it's used, I don't know if it had work done or not. I'm betting not.
