I'm sure there are some that like them, but I don't see the need for an expensive somewhat neutered AR. I'd rather have an AR that i could really mod if i wanted to.

I thought DPMS made them for Remington.

They do, they are infact one-in-the-same. The R25 is just specified for hunting only applications. They are great rifles.

A buddy if mine had one and sold it not long after he got it. It literally had the worst trigger I have ever used and that's not an exageration. I would check the pull on one before I bought it. It was long, dragged, jumped, and never broke consistently.

It had terrible groups as well, but I will chalk that down to the trigger. I would personally look at alternatives.

He could have, but after spending that kind of money, I would expect a usable trigger. It wasn't even close. Also makes me wonder what other shortcuts may have been made. That may just be me. I don't expect a match trigger in what is essentially a hunting rifle, but I do expect a usable one.
