What kind of targets do I need?

Recommended Posts

I have not been shooting since I was a kid. Plan on going to Owl Hollow to shoot and need to know what would be the best targets to use. Looked on Midway USA site and they have 18 pages of targets. I will be shooting 22 pistol & rife, 38 S&W J-Frame, 9mm pistol and 45 pistol. Thanks for any advice since in the past I used bottles & cans.

Immensely, and better yet, unforgiving of poor marksmanship. You'll get better quicker.

I have stacks of these targets that I printed off years ago. Awesome site.

paper plates are great, takes a magic marker and draw stuff on them to aim at.

I like Shoot-n-See for 22's.

Yep, cheaper than printer ink.

I don't even spring for stapler/staples, use masking tape.

Exactly what I do. Use a marker to draw a dot in the middle and you are good to go.
