Absolutely good for you on quitting. I tell my buddies that I'd buy their first pack of nicorette (except I've heard that stuff tastes like crap and doesn't work). Anything I can do to help them out. But hey, if you can get a piece out of it, way to work the deal!

I've been on Chantix for two weeks, hasn't really reduced my smoking yet. I think I'm just habit smoking and socially smoking, the urge isn't there unless I get a "trigger". Driving and meals are the worse. I quit during boot camp, stupidest thing I ever did was pick them back up.

Actually works pretty well.

All kinds of flavors, different brands all taste differently.

And all are in themselves addictive also, 'cause it's still Nick O' Teen.

They don’t reduce your smoking. You are supposed to start taking them one week prior to your quit date.

Well as far as an update,not to much to report,after 3 days I still am smoke free,just a little crabby,maybe that will go away,but I doubt it cause I was crabby anyway.So as of this moment my Springer is still safe at home.:D

Well since I quit my wife calls me a crotchety old man, mainly because I am one.

She would rather have me crotchety that still smoking.

Well to all the nay sayers,tomorrow it will be 1 week since I quit the smokes,I have not given in to the smoke gods and have not so much as touched a butt(smokable one anyways).:D

Keep it up man, You can do it!

I applaud your efforts. I never started so I don't know how hard it is to quit but I have alot of friends and family that have tried and failed.

BTW, Everyone loves a quitter!
