Guitar Case Turned Gun Case

Came across this page today. Seems like a pretty cool idea. Has anyone here ever tried anything like this?

I'd probably go for a bass guitar case, that way it's more room for more guns. But the guitar case has more cool factor.

What do you guys think?

Pretty cool but i don't see why he didn't just use foam inserts (like pelican cases) glued to the inside and covered as opposed to the expanding foam? Seem like it would have been a lot less messy.

i also saw a tool box that was used to carry a broken down AR but i cant find it now. wish i could as id like to do it.

I'm actually doing something similar with my old guitar case, but I'm using foam inserts as was suggested above. Nothing major, just an AR and a couple of mags. I just picked up a "left-over" case from work, it was one of the factory cases that Auto Ordnance sends with the high-grade Thompson carbines. So I'll probably set that one up for my SBR whenever I finally get my receiver and stamp.

my grandfather bought a tommy gun and kept it in a guitar case, his wife thought it had a guitar in it till she tried to pick it up. BTW it was a new one and not a full auto.

1. Get any typical hard sided gun case.

2. Put a few guitar/music related stickers on the outside.

I saw photos of someone converting old soda machines into gun safes. Hadn't thought of using a guitar case though.

I knew a guy that used to put a giant bong in a guitar case (this was 27 years ago) but that's another story.
