State Sen Kyle yesterday annonced his withdrawal from the TN governor's race, citing the public's "hostility toward Democrats"...one can only hope that he is truly prescient, and this turns out to be a very hostile year for the jackasses.

But, unless and until they rid themselves of the far left socialists running the party, I say GO POUND SAND to all of em. And a couple of Repubs, too.

Amen brother!! Well said.

There is "hostility toward Democrats" because more people are waking up and noticing the self-destructive, arrogant, overbearing idiocy in the currently constituted Demorat party. Memphis Demorat politics wont play well in the rest of Tennessee (...unless it is the middle of downtown Nashville, Chattanooga, or Knoxville...). It aint even playing very well in the usual places.

A kinder assessment is given here: Tennessee Republican Party |

I say: Good riddance. The hell with the Demorats. The "real" danger to this country at this point in time.

Food for thought.
