Just got my DH Belt Slide for my 3" Ruger SP101. Saddle brown in color, simple, very well made..I like it. Holds the gun so close to my side, its invisible wearing only a T-shirt. For $28.95 well worth the price.

However...customer service was a little lacking. I ordered this on 12Feb. Two days later I call to check the staus, and was told it was backordered 4-6 weeks, they were all out of saddlebrown and would have to make it. I ask if they had black, they said yes, I said send it on. Long story short, I called 4 times, each time no one knew I had ordered black. FINALLY get them to say the black was sent out.I get it today....its SADDLEBROWN!!!

Go figure..Im happy anyway. Check em out, theyve got some nice holsters.

I have two of their JIT holsters and while I'm sure there are better I don't think you can beat them for the price.

Im with you... it was more than I was expecting. Especially since I got mine as a overstock special for $16 bucks. I was expecting at the least blemishes or something.

New Member here. Ive got two Don Hume holsters. Both are the H710's with the covered belt slots. Don Hume has gone to open slots, much to my disliking, because it's just more comfortable with the covered slots as there is less bulk tucked behind the belt jabbing into your side. They hold the gun very very close to your side and are extremely well made. Don Hume, I feel, is highly overlooked and under-rated. I tried to upload a picture but dont see the manage attachments box. Oh well. It'll take me a while to get used to things here.

Howdy BlackHawk93 and Welcome to TGO :koolaid:

Yes I do believe some of the Don Hume holsters are a over looked value.

Did you order thru Don Hume or another vendor?

Enjoy your holster and carry safely.

I have several Hume holsters and two of their belts. Very happy with all of them and they have all held up well, especially the belts.

I order most of mine from gunnersalley.com.

Don Hume has quietly produced millions of fine holsters at bargain basement prices for years. I don't see how they make a profit. I have some Don Hume holsters, and I can't make them for what you can buy them for. They are one of the best buys in the gun market in my opinion.

Thanks DWARREN. I bought my Don Hume holsters through Gunnersalley. They have alot of their older holsters with the covered belt slots due to their being a vendor. Ive been very happy with them.
