Thanks guys. I figured I'd start out with .38 ammo until she was comfortable with it and then move up to magnum. Good to hear the SP 101 is big enough to absorb the recoil. Have you found that to be true of S&W .357s?

try a lot of them out...buy the one you like the most. They are kinda like shoes

Excactly what they are like.

I'm in a retro mood on the revolvers lately, Colt Cobras to be exact and am wanting to get a Security Six soon, those are great.

The five shot "lite" guns don't seem to have much soul. (To me anyway )
