MR Baby Eagle or Walther P99?

Looking through the Magnum Research 2010 catalog and in the back is a gun they are calling the Baby Eagle Fast Action. Appears to be a better clone of the Walther P99 than the S&W version. Priced at $619 at Davidson's. What's up with that. Here is the Davidson's link GalleryofGuns.com - Gun Genie

Well, Magnum Research "clones" everything else, why not this. Never been too impressed w/the P99 or any of the baby eagles. I predict failure for this line-up. Def, not paying $600 for it. I will take a CZ 75B over a baby eagle or this any day.

I've always had good luck w/ Magnum Research's products, so I don't think you could go wrong with one. I'm curious to see if they'll actually sell for that much though.

Anyone remember the orginal imported under the Jericho name? Some came as a pistol pack with both a 9mm and a 41AE barrel and slide. I think I'd prefer the 45 setup.

For that price I'd go with the Walther P99.
