Hunting with Spears > Home

Is this a joke? The guys page says he throws 2 spears at a time and is working on a technique to throw a third spear with his right leg.

He can throw two spears at a time. However I think he is kidding a bit on the leg.

Cold steel makes a spear that is a replica of the Masaai spear as well as a Samburu (for throwing). They still us it when hunting lions. Pretty cool thing to see. Spears : Cold Steel (Hunting and Sport)

I'm sure your guide is a good one but if you are going with natives DO NOT get pricked or cut with their blades/spears/arrows. They use a toxic poison (never-mind Aids and all the other African goodies!) made from tree bark that will immobilize an elephant in 30 min. and kill you. At least that's what the doctors kept telling us and we didn't test them..

gotta say, i'm not quite sure who my guide will be, i'm almost positive it will be quite laid back as it will be more a hunt for food for them(probably, they may try to get something for a trophy since i am there). trust me, i don't plan on getting pricked by anything!
