Shot 420 rounds through the glock this weekend and not one problem. Even shot some Nato through it. The rock island is worth every penny, Its very accurate for the price and so is the Glock. Next on the list for the glock is night sights. Plans for the RIA are unknown at this point, At a crossroad with it.

Ditch the factory grips. There are tons of grips to choose from and they are generally not expensive.

My 2 pistols are a 2nd generation G19 and a Springfield Mil-Spec. Night sights are awesome. Put green Ameriglo's on my old G19, can't believe I left those plastic factory sights on there for 14 years. If you check around you can probably find a shop that will install them for free. Of course... then your 1911 will want some and they will cost moolah to get installed:)

Ria is a great entry level 1911, Right out of the box it is just as good if not better than my friends Kimber. I want to do stuff to the RIA, But its on the chopping blocks right now. Its currently entertaining trades, But so far nothing of my interests. So ill more than likely keep it and start adding parts to it.
