Went out coyote hunting this morning didn't get a dog but did take this picture. Can't wait to shoot him. He was only 40 yards when I got my camera out and took his picture. He was camera shy he ran off after I took a couple of photos

Scouted a little this morning, not much action in my area yet. But I did see 4 hens without toms around 8 so that is a good sign.

I've not listened for any gobbles yet. I've been waking up early enough just ain't got out. Seen a lot of scratching sign. I've not hunted "thunder chickens" in a few years. I'm looking forward to it this time.

I'm glad it's almost here, this site is killing me.

They are strutting and gobbling a lot now and the hens are doing their part yelping more.

I haven't found a place to hunt hogs yet and haven't tried Coyotes but they are both something I want to try one day.
