Does anyone here have any experience with this handgun. I did a search on the forum but couldn't find anything. Tell me the good, bad or the ugly.

I have the 1911-A1 ultra compact .45 in Bi-Tone. I've fed it just about everything you can imagine, from cheap to top of the line self-defense rounds, and so far, it has digested everything I've thrown at it without a single hiccup. The gun is more accurate than I am.

Mine's a keeper. Once had the GI version in full-size, and no problems with it, either. Wish I had it back. Even though we're not talking about the exact same piece, my experience with Springfield 1911s is all +++. No bad or ugly experiences with mine.

I have the Loaded Operator Micro Compact. Shoots better than I can. Had maybe one or two FTFs in the first hundred rounds, possibly as much due to me (first 1911 style for me) as anything else. Performed pretty much flawlessly since, and I've pushed over a thousand rounds thru it. So far, it's eaten WWB, Blazer (brass and steel), Magtech, Lawman and Win Ranger without indigestion.
