I'm drooling over your flashlight collection.. 4sevens makes some great flashlights. I've been watching Nutnfancy on youtube talk about them.

I'll be heading out in a few minutes with this. S&W 649 with CT grips, Streamlight Microstream AAA powered LED light, well-worn Gerber Clutch microtool, Kershaw (Scallion? damifiremember) knife, keys, wallet, usb key. I wonder about all these pristine pocket flashlights & tools. Mine always end up scratched.

if you scroll down fairly quick, the flashlight looks like a scope on the seecamp

And if you blink real fast while doing that it looks like an old time movie:D

To the Kimber UC guys, do you find it comfortable for all day carry? I've got one on my short wish list but I can't convince myself that I can carry it any better than my G30. Then again, it's not about replacing it's about variety I guess.

I sold my G30 after nearly 13 years and bought the Kimber Ultra Carry II in SS. It is more comfortable to carry and Im really happy with it. I've never been in a situation that warranted me to pull and start shooting to save my or my family's life, so I can't tell you how well I like going from the pull and shoot Glock to the 1911 style, but I sure do enjoy shooting the 1911 more. It just feels right.

Agreed, mine aren't all beat up yet....The Titanium LE is a safe queen, and I just bought the 4Sevens to supplant a couple Fenix and EagleTacs.

I really like the Preon as it is nice to move something to a shirt pocket and clear the pants. It is hard to beat 160 lumens out of a penlight!!

Rechargable Sanyo Eneloops batteries are definitely the way to go with the LED lights.

BTW if you decide to purchase anything Fenix/4Sevens etc use cfp8 as a code for an 8 percent discount.

Bryan P., I love the little streamlight micro. I bought the first and only one I saw. Went back to get more for the wifey, all gone. I've never seen them for sale again. I carry a SureFire LED Defender for serious use, but the little Streamlight is perfect for stickin' in my teeth and lighting up something fiddly I'm working on.

Gotta simple question that'll probably be overlooked, but here goes. Erik's Nutnfancy video shows near the end that the light comes with spare o-rings. Do ya'll know what we should do to preserve the rubber (if it is rubber) while in storage?

You can get these all day long on Amazon.com.

Here's mine. Got my flashlight in the side pocket of my bag. The bag I carry in the car and keep at work. Makes it convenient to switch where I keep my gun. The bag also has a built in holster and double mag carrier GEDC0051.jpg

The little P07 is my BUG!

Haha, water, juice, etc. With 3 kids and the 4th due in April, it sure beats a diaper bag with butterflies and flowers! At least that's my justification. Makes me feel better about my murse!

Not a murse. "Tactical Satchel!"

Yep. I bought my first one at the Goodman show. I ordered two more from Amazon, one of which is still sealed in the plastic.

Slightly OT, but regarding the blade.. I suggest taking a look at the Spyderco Tenacious if you're looking for a decent budget blade. I just picked one up (~$30) and I love it so far. It has become my EDC blade until I find something I like more (and can afford).

My EDC setup is:

Wallet

Keys

Samsung Moment

Spyderco Tenacious

(Coming Soon: Pending HCP arrival) - Springfield XDC 45 in Kholster or Ruger LCP in pocket.

No watch because I always have my phone on me. I am kind of reevaluating that. In the event of SHTF the cell phone will die long before a watch battery. Might be worthwhile to keep a separate timepiece on me.

A bit of Pag oil goes a long way with o-rings (or any oil, really).

Petroleum oils and distillates tend to eat rubber. One of the reasons you don't use petroleum jelly with condoms. Any other ideas?
