This is the sign that the guy was arguing with me about...and once again the openings at Opry Mills are not marked other than "No Smoking" signs...I have pictures of that also if needed.

Edit: Just looked at everything a little closer and it appears I've stumbled into another pissing contest thread. Where's my popcorn...

Just one more reason for me to despise Bass Pro Shop...

Why despise BPS? That sign means absolutely nothing.

Well...there is only 3 sets of doors...this is into the mall, another out into boat area...and the main entrance going out to the parking lot.

Nothing going in or out from the boat entrance.

This is the only one going out into the mall.

Main entrance has some BS sign about checking firearms at service counter..but that is for returns or broken firearms....I asked.

Personal preference, mainly. They don't have anything I want that I can't get at a better price somewhere else. Oh, and one of the the guys behind the gun counter is an asshat.

Just my opinion based on my own personal experience.

I have bought a few long guns and a bunch of scopes there, but always did my research before I went in. Some of the guys are shooters, and some know very little.

Well sorry guy...I don't know what you're talking about? I must walk right by the sign, I go in there a few times a week looking for ammo.

How much or how little they know doesn't bother me, but when they obviously don't know what they're talking about AND they act like a total jerk about it to boot, that's when I take my money somewhere else.

Nobody has been a jerk to me, but I've bumped into a couple that didn't know what they were talking about. Again, I normally know what I'm looking for when I walk in. I buy my handguns elsewhere.

IMO that sign means you should not carry any firearms purchased at BS into the mall. Just like the signs in some shops that mention checking firearms and meaning ones to be serviced, not carry weapons.

It would not appear to conform to 39-17-1359 (IMO)

Remember not all "Don't Carry" signs carry legal weight or apply to HCP holders. Many state parks still have "No Firearms" signs, but they do not apply to HCP holders.

One question , were you OCing . If it were concealed how would they know . Just my :D

I've bought a couple things there and an employee had to walk the firearm to the parking lot exit before handing it to me. They specifically said it was mall rules.
