Ron is a good guy, and is a pretty good shooter.

Here is a picture of him getting my P90 brief prior to unleashing 50 rounds of 5.7mm terror

Nothing like seeing hopefully our next governor shooting a machine gun:)

Ron better start crankin out some TV ads cause Haslam is running them every 10 minutes. People are gonna think he's the only Republican in the hunt.

Yeah, it's likely Haslam can just buy this whole election.

It's the 'Mericun Way.

I believe as a sitting Tennessee elected official Ramsey is barred by State law from campaigning while the Assembly is in session.

Bredesen did bring a lot of jobs to TN(some people tend to forget this), I hope Ramsey has plans to handle that...to me thats more important then any 2nd amendment worries...without jobs and people being able to work none of us will need to worry about buying firearms or ammo cause we will all be broke and hungry....or moving to a different state. Stumping on the 2nd amendment and chest pumping about states rights is motivational, but it wont mean a damn if unemployment stays sky high.

McWherter doesn't understand that it's not up to the BATFE to determine

constitutionality. If he really thinks restaurant carry is problematic, he needs to show how, since it was working when some hyena sued to stop it.

McWerter is trying to ride his dad's coattails into office. Ned McWherter was a pretty reasonable "Blue Dog" Democrat governor who served two terms (1986-1995). As i remember, he was a gun owner and hunter. He made lots of money in the trucking business.

Here is the real reason McWerter won:

..."He (McWerter) faced former Republican governor Winfield Dunn in what was initially considered one of the hotter races of the 1986 cycle. However, Dunn's campaign stalled when 1st District Congressman Jimmy Quillen, the de facto leader of the Republican Party in East Tennessee, refused to support Dunn and encouraged several prominent East Tennessee Republicans to withhold their support as well. Quillen had never forgiven Dunn for his opposition to a medical school at East Tennessee State University." ...

I believe he is still alive. Check out the bio here: Ned McWherter - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

Sounds like the boy is a chump educated by the socialist idiots that seem to be in power in the presently constituted Demorat Party.

Let's hope he takes a real whipping everywhere.

Hope this helps.

I emailed Ramsey that I would love to produce TV ads for him since I own a video production company and am a huge supporter, but haven't heard anything back.

Let me put it this way about Haslam. I talked to his treasurer because I know the guy through church and grew up with his kids. Instead of getting a production company from here in TN, Haslam got the company that did McCain's ads. So not only did he NOT support a TN company (which there were PLENTY of us who could have produced a high quality ad), but if you've seen the ad, you know that while it looks good, it doesn't really look all that great for what he probably spent on it (which was the exact same thought I had about McCain's ads...)
