The Bursa Thunder is a nice little piece and much more controlable than the teeny-weeny P3AT but for good reliable and inexpensive I'd go with the Taurus 851 pictured below. You don't have to remember to get your thumb over the hammer coming out of your pocket. Shrouded hammer won't get hung up on anything but you can still cock it by the thumb spur and take a single action shot if need be. This is my mid-size back up.

Yeah, but it won't go in your back pocket concealed in shorts and a T-shirt like the P3AT.

Actually, I like the idea of a revolver with a thumb spur hammer for a lot of people. I tend to think of them more as a purse gun than a pocket gun, but if used in Thunderwear they might impress the ladies.

I think he meant "bottom feeder" only in terms of action, i.e. semi auto, not in terms of quality.

Kahrs are nice guns although pretty pricey. My first carry gun was a K40.

Sorry this is late, but Rabbi understood me correctly. I wasn't trying to say any gun was inferior to another and meant no disrespect.

Semi-autos are sometimes referred to as "bottom-feeders" because that is how they cycle their ammo, from the bottom up.

Bersas are great pistols and very reliable., been around a long time, I know a lot of people who have and love them.
