Modify a Hungarian AK to take standard AK mags?

I've got an AMD-65 Hungarian AK. I only bought it because I was real cheap from a friend who was upgrading to a better rifle. But of course it will only take Hungarian mags which are a pain to find. I just want to be able to get regular $20 AK mags and use them rather than have special crap to have to use for it.

Surely there is a way to modify the rifle to take regular mags. I have had a lot of people tell me to just mod up mags to fit the Hungarian, but if I ever get another AK, I just want all my mags to fit both rifles.

Anyone know how to modify an AMD-65 for regular mags? I won't be selling the gun so I don't care what needs to be done to take care of this.

AMD-65s will take standard AK mags, I had one for 2 yrs, only problem I had with mags, was using the 30rd. mags. Clearance is tight because of the forend grip, you can use them, just slower changing, that's why they were issued with the 20rd mags. Oh, let me add that a lot of owners just remove the forend grip. Sloved the extended mag problem.
