Magazine Rattle

In my XD45C I notice with the 10rd magazine full it rattles a lot and when in the gun it rattles still just not as much. in the 12rd magazine there is no rattle at all. anyone else experience and know how to correct it?

yeah ill do that. after doing some research on xdtalk.com it seems to be a common problem for that particular magazine.

The XD I got sat. the sc 9 , it does the same thing with its 10 round mags. But when put in the gun it stoped . So if I contact them , what they send me new mags ?

Probably not.

Tried smacking the backside of the mag against your hand?

Although it doesn't matter much since they don't rattle in the gun.

But if you're carrying with the flush 10 rounder, I suggest you buy a flush 13 rounder instead.

My XDm's magazines will occasionally rattle. All I do is smack it on my hand like I'm packing some cigarettes or something and the rattling stops.

I did the packing thing .( ALWAYS DO ) Just went to there site going to order there 16 rd. for it .

16 rounder will make butt same size as service model, if that matters to you for concealed carry. It sure does to me.

It is a purse gun for grandma . At this time grip length don't matter . But it will add some weight .

Oh yeah...I didn't make connection with your other thread.

Well, the 13 flush mag is what is standard now.

I guess you got this used, as new ones came with 10 and 16 rounder, about a year ago became 13 and 16 rounder standard.

13 rounder still might be better for her needs, I dunno.

If weights no prob, get one of each, let her carry the 16 rounder as a spare in there; 30 rounds, go Grannie go! ;)
