Knoxville Gun Show - Feb 20th

why would anyone want to eat at Scruggs after the previous review of the place.

I don't believe it is bad like you all said. OS would not steer me wrong.

Best ribs in town, I stand by that.

I've partaken couple of times since we last convened there.

Think the ambiance was getting the real comments, not the food. It's far from a classy place to sit and eat.

70below already had gut full of Mexican cuisine ready to vacate before he even arrived.

Oh, btw 70below, I DID get by America's Fresh, your fav. Good ribs there, for sure, but still doesn't compete with Scruggs IMNSHO.

Haven't decided if I'm gonna make the show or not. Still sort of

on Firearm Savings Time, thinking I might get a new Mini 14 depending on how taxes work out, but ain't nobody gonna be cheaper than Wally's if I can catch one there.

Being a Memphis boy I like ribs dry and chewy but Scruggs' does have the best ribs in Knoxville. Now that being said, they are greasy and loaded with sauce...but still good.

They can move through you fast if you're not careful. :death: I must have an iron gut like OS (inside, not outside :))...they caused me no problems. Except for farting all night.

I'll be there between 10 and 11 am Sat. Will have a Belguim Browning 12 gauge round knob for $500 cash or trade for a Remington 700 bull barrel .223. Would really like a vls or sps Thanks.

Browning as in Auto-5?

I strolled through Saturday afternoon.

I was surprised to see a lot of empty tables, not sure why.

There was a crate of Mosins for $109 to $119 apiece. If I had the money in my pocket I probably would have bought one.

Went this morning. I noticed the empty tables also. Was looking for a Glock 29. Found one for $597. (I've seen cheaper on gunbroker) Other table didn't have them and said he wouldn't order any because ammo is hard to find. (odd... Sevier has them and about the same price as .380) Thinking about going back tomorrow because there's a Sig .357 (SP2340 I think) that looked nice. Don't recall who had it though :) But the place was packed... guess at least someone found a deal!

Yeah that was a hard one for me to walk by.

Were they in pretty good shape? I may go tomorrow to see about one. I had to work this morning.

I didn't look at them closely. The crate was open behind the table and I just glanced it over, didn't want to tempt myself too much.
