I was looking for a holster for my future p229, I'm specifically looking for one that is located at your waste band underneath your pants were you can only see the handle of the gun (No clue on what the name of this style is). But the ones I did see look very uncomfortable, I wont be carrying it every were but when I do my deposits and what not I don't want the SOB gouging my back. Any brands I should look at?

PS, I'm sure I could find this information using the search tool in these forums but I'm at work and don't have time to do it : /

Try the DM Bullard Dual Carry. It's and Inside the Waistband (IWB) holster that really distributes the weight of a larger frame pistol like the 229.

Exactly what I was looking for, thanks man. One more question for ya, as I said in my intro post I'm a rifle, shotgun and bow man. I don't know much about carrying concealed, I'm right handed so does that mean the gun handle would be pointed to my right arm? Back view perspective. Or is it just what people feel best with?

It depends on where you are carrying, and what your preference is. Most people who carry right handed behind their hip (3 o'clock to 5 o'clock) will carry with the muzzle of the pistol pointing towards their left foot (roughly) with the grip pointing towards their left shouder (again roughly for this simple visual). This is how the Dual Carry is set up. There are plently of other options, but this is usually the most comforable (for IWB anyway) and the most concealable.

I'm about to purchase so I'm making sure I got this right.

I'm purchasing the p229 Elite so not sure what the "rail" thing is. And yes I'm right handed.

You've got it correct. The 'rail' option refers to the accessory rail on your pistol, which if I am not mistaken all of the 229 Elites have. You'll like the holster. He makes a great gunbelt as well. I expect I'll be wearing the 1 1/2 double thick belt I got from him for the rest of my life.
