Not sure where to post this one but i was wondering if anyone on TGO made their own steel targets. I am just wanting some static steel silhouette targets to shoot at. Also i was wondering how to stop the ricochets. If anyone has any knowledge or ideas on this it would be great. Thanks

I'm watching his video called "The 1000 Rounds Challenge - Part 1" and the host says they're using "frangible" ammo. So Jarrett probably was able to shoot anywhere, anyway he wanted without returns. Frangible are supposed to nearly turn to powder compared to the hard stuff.

For steel silhouettes, take a paper one to a steel shop and just have them cut some with your pattern. If they have plasma cutters, you'll be quite happy with the edges. But a cutting torch will get you the same thing. They can use either tool to blow a 1/4" hole for hanging.

This one will give some other ideas.

I have shot with BrazilNuts who is a member of TGO who has been kind enough to let me shoot some pretty cool steel targets he's made. They are basically steel squares hung from a wooden post and crossbar that are mounted to steel hooks that let them swing in a controlled path. He also made some basic steel plates that are at an angle to deflect shots. They all make a nice "ping" when hit. I'm sure he would be able to give you more details on their construction. Sorry B-nuts if I robbed you of a post!
