First range report w/ this sight. I shot today at 25, 50 and 100 with the new sight. With the old Mosin sights, you are pretty much guessing where to shoot. And that is after adding the electrical heat shrink to lengthen the front sight and move it over etc. Or modify the rear one as well.

Once set at 25 with this sight, all I had to do was one or two slight adjustments at 100 and it was good. This is well worth the money! Best part, most people will not even notice it's modified until you point it out to them.

So you could continue to adjust it this time! That's good. How many allen wrenches did you take with ya?

I do like those mojo's. Will have some someday.

There are great at the range when you are lining up nice targets with good contrast. I took my mosin deer hunting last season and quickly discovered that I wish I had put the blade sights back on. I couldn't see a thing through the mojo sights. I can get within an inch and a half at 100 yards at the range with the mojos, but out in the field, I missed my first deer ever.

I know they are made to shoot with but I shoot without. I have made adjustments on my other two on front sight to compensate. Besides, I hate the way ot looks w/ the Bayo on!

Glad to see yours work. The set I bought for my 91/30 was too wide to fit the rear sight mount. Too tight for the elevation know to be of any use.

Instead of doing the mojo sight I have decided to go with a scout-style scope setup on my M44...as soon as I get the scope and scope mount in that is. Of course it does seem a little wrong that I have spent as much on my scope+ mount that I did on my rifle...

I know I'm gettin' in here a little late. But I was wondering what the Mojo sights cost and where did you get it. Also I don't shoot my Mosins with the bayo either. I kinda dought I'll be charged by Germans.

I want to say it was $59.00. I went to the range w/ a buddy last week and was shooting at 100 yards. Did pretty well at 100 once it was adjusted. However, he said a smaller aperture would help at 100. They sell an aperture kit for these also, which I'm going to order.

Glad it worked good for you. I like my Mosins but don't like the sights too much. I mean if I shot it a whole lot it would be ok. Its just takes some getting used to.
