I got a Spyderco Moran for Christmas, I skinned 2 deer with it and it held the edge just like it came out of the box.

I have a few Microtech knives but, quit carrying them after I lost a stingray inlayed socom while 4 wheeling

That is why I have a 550 cord lanyard on my pocketknife, it is a camillus US pocketknife, simple and basic, got it for 15 bucks off ebay. I carry it everywhere, and add a Mora when I am in the woods.

Got this for $5 bucks at Wally World. I use it on a daily basis at work. I have it on me at all times just in case SHTF.

Loosen and/or lubricate. I tweak many of my folders to open just as I want them to.

Nah but the blade is also able to flex back and forth a tiny amount  Good knife for work for $5. I have a CRKT somewhere, but Im not sure where. Need to find it and take a pic.

This is what I carry - I made the cocobolo handle and the sheath.

It is wicked sharp - it cost me an emergency room visit, twenty-some stitches, and partial use of three fingers to make the scales...

That's a great piece of steel Brooks. I'm looking forward to their folder based on the same blade later this year.

Thanks. I just picked it up this week. I'd love to have the folder, let me know they come out.

Will do. Maybe I'll pick one up and do a giveaway or something attached to your PIF Christmas Thread this year.

That would be great. I'm going to try and get started a lot earlier this year. I never imagined it would turn into what it did.
