Lol, some dogs are really smart and hard to keep locked up like that. I had an old bird dog that somehow got where he could unbuckle his collar. It also brings to mind a cocker spaniel I once had when I was a kid. One night, my family was getting ready to sit down to dinner. Table was all set, and we were having a casserole that was in the middle of the dining room table in one of the heavy casserole dishes with the lid on it. Right before dinner, my aunt, uncle, and cousin stopped by and we all went outside to visit before they had to get back on the road. When we came back in, nothing was out of place. The lid was on the casserole dish, and nothing was turned over on the table. However, there was no casserole, the dish was licked so clean that it looked like it had been washed, and the lid was put back on it. The cocker spaniel was the only living thing in the house that coulda done it.
