Gun Show in Lebanon Feb. 13 & 14

Looks like another gun show is scheduled for this weekend in Lebanon at the Ag. center. There's a $1 off coupon in the local papers. I don't remember what the entry fee was last time, maybe 6 or 7 bucks.

I know many panned the last show there, but I thought it was ok for a first time deal. Mainly because it was local and hopefully by supporting it, it will get better over time.

I'm not affiliated with the show in any way, just would like to see a show in Lebanon take hold and make a go of it.

A friend and I went Saturday morning. There was a line in the parking lot to get in. It appeared to be more lookers than buyers. There was quite a bit of ammo, but I didn't see any great deals. It is good to have a gun show close to home though. It was bigger than the first show and I hope it continues.

They got enough of my money last time. I've gone to 3 of their shows (lebanon, sparta, and the ng armory show in murfreesboro), and they were all crap. Unless I hear they have improved greatly, I'm not gonna waste my money.

went around lunch time yesterday. Bigger than last time with an additional building. Little different layout made moving around a little easier. Lots of people.

Bought 1K of 62 gr. 223 tips for $68, thought that was a pretty good deal. Same stuff on tables as most other shows. Some walking around sales, they mostly thought more of their guns than I did. Did see some money changing hands several times, and paperwork being filled out, so I guess there were some deals to be had.

$7 at the door, I had a $1 coupon.

I had a friend that went to the Lebanon show yesterday, looking for a snub nose S&W 38 Special. She was disappointed. Said the prices were high, lots more junk than gun tables, and that the ammo prices were high.

I heard the last Murfreesboro show was as good as those they used to have in Smyrna.

Ahh yes, but the last murfreesboro show was an RK show, not the one that does lebanon (great american gun and knife show I believe), and it was also not at the guard armory, it was in a giant old factory or warehouse. Now that was a good show, 2 more weeks for that one though.
