DS Arms upper, opinions?

DSA finally has an upper reciever that is 1:7 and chrome lined for $325. This minus BCG and charging handle which isn't an issue as I was going to order a BCM BCG and BCM Gunfighter charging handle anyways.

So does anyone have any experience with DSA uppers? What's the general quality like? Would I be okay with this upper or should I avoid them? I know they have a good rep for their FAL stuff, just unsure if I should wait to find another brand in stock as I am not interested in a 1:9 and 1:7s are hard to find in stock for less than $500( they all seem to have a rail that I don't want as of now)?

I have one of the $275 1:9 nitride coated uppers from them. Groups well, finish seems durable. I also put a BCM BCG in it and the thing runs fine. am probably going to pick up one of the mid lengths from them as well.

I like em.

I've read good things about the DSA uppers, I'd go for it.

Went with it. Will give report On fit and finish once I get it in. Though it will still be a month or so before I can get it complete and ready to fire.
