Wasn't sure where to post this...

I am a 22 year old college student that rents an apartment. My parents still claim me as a dependent on their tax forms. Are they legally responsible for me if I buy a gun for hunting, if I have all of the proper licenses? I work and pay my own bills, but because I am full-time they still claim me. My mom is convinced she is responsible and won't let me get a gun.

Welcome Aboard.....If you are 21 then you are an adult and legally able to buy any gun you can afford. Whether or not your parents claim you on their taxes has nothing to do with gun ownership.

Okay... third thread, same person, same exact post, different area. Hard to tell if this person is trolling through, or really is this confused. Based on mom's theory, I can see the latter... but I'm leaning more towards trolling now.

Not trolling... just really wasn't sure the best place to post the question. I know on my truck forums, the guys only look the the section that interest them specifically, so I wasn't sure if it was the same here.
