Here is a 8 point buck that I didn't think would make it through the season.

I saw him early Sept while he was still in velvet.

He's broke off one side now but I look forward to trying to find him next season..

I'd like to have a shed from him that's for sure.

I've heard all different things about when they start dropping, when is the best time to start looking around here?

Kinda looks like antler between his eyes in the first pic, but can't see it in the second. Shooter either way. Good luck, next year.

Around March in Tennessee, is when they begin to drop, and the best time to start looking.

I'm always scanning the ground, during turkey season.

BTW...That is a nice buck you have there....and, he will be better next season!

I agree with Bearman. I usually start looking in early March.

Deer around here start droping antlers in Mid January. I consider February the best month to hunt sheds.

IE: My wife killed a six point in late december. Its horns came off while pulling it out of woods.

That better?

Not calling you a liar but I have seen this pic a hundred times and each time someone different claims they took the pic or a friend of a friend took it.

Clute, What model Stealth are you using?

It's the I540IR StealthCam

I have to say one thing about their customer service.

One of the hinges broke on my cam, so I called them last week about it and after about a 30 second conversation they gave me my order number and I should have the replacement housing this week. It was covered under warranty and I wish all customer service was like that.

Great Customer Service to talk to.
